Can't log in? Can't remember your Username or Password? Please read through and attempt to follow the directions below...they really aren't as hard or scary as they might look at first.
1) On the CHEAGD web site (http://www.cheagd.org/), click "Member Log In", and then click "Request new password".
2) Enter your username or e-mail address.
Your username is your first and last names as they appeared the application form (e.g. "John Doe"); your e-mail address is the e-mail address you used on the application form (e.g. "john.doe@email.com").
3) Complete the "CAPTCHA" test.
In order to protect the web site from spammers, there is a "CAPTCHA" test on the form. You must complete this test in order to submit the form. Enter the two strings displayed by the test and copy the result into the lower box to complete the test.
4) Click "E-mail new password".
An e-mail will then be sent to the e-mail address you used on the application form. The system will not actually send you a new password; you will be sent a link that will allow you to connect to the web site and set your password to whatever you like. This link is only good for 24 hours. If you do not use it within that time period, you will have to request another link.
Upon receiving the e-mailed link and clicking on it:
5) Enter a new password and/or check Username.
Click on the "Edit" tab. Your Username should be clearly displayed here. If necessary, enter and confirm a new password.
6) Save your changes.
If you have entered a new password, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Submit".
In addition to setting your password, there is also a field called "Alternate Login". If you are more used to logging in with something other than your first and last names (i.e. "jdoe1999" instead of "John Doe"), you can enter that into this field and then you will be able to log in with that username instead.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When logging in from here on out, you must use either your Username or (if you have set one) your Alternate Login. Your e-mail address is only usable to request a new password link; it cannot be used to log in.
If you still are having problems, please let the Webmaster know by sending an e-mail to webmaster@cheagd.org.
